Dr. Hannah Grantham, Director of the Mitchell Center for African American Heritage at the Delaware Historical Society, will be the keynote speaker at The Friends of Cooch’s Bridge Historic Site’s annual Juneteenth celebration. Martin Hargrove, baritone, will perform musical selections, including a song by Jonathan W. Whitney, and we will keep the tradition to “Say Their Names” as part of the occasion.

 

The event will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 4-6pm at Cooch’s Bridge Historic Site. Parking is available at The Pencader Heritage Museum, 2029 Sunset Lake Road.
